Yvie François advises national and international companies on protecting and managing intellectual property throughout the Caribbean. Her practice focuses on trademarks, designs, copyright, and related regulatory matters, with particular experience coordinating multi-jurisdictional portfolios across 27 Caribbean jurisdictions.
She works closely with businesses, foreign associates, and local counsel to develop practical solutions for protecting and maintaining intellectual property rights in legally diverse markets. Her experience includes trademark prosecution, portfolio management, enforcement support, and comparative legal analysis across the region.
Yvie holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and New Technologies Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Her work is characterised by a practical, business-oriented approach and careful attention to the operational challenges of managing intellectual property across multiple jurisdictions.

Laura Nazario Jones is an attorney specializing in intellectual property, with extensive experience advising clients on the management and protection of intellectual property assets worldwide. Her practice focuses on trademark and patent portfolio management, enforcement, and infringement matters, particularly across the Caribbean region, Latin America, and Europe.
Her practice also encompasses corporate matters, free zone regimes, copyright, data protection, and related regulatory issues, allowing her to provide comprehensive legal support aligned with clients’ commercial and operational needs.
Laura is passionate about helping clients protect and maximize the value of their intellectual property assets in constantly evolving markets. She develops innovative, proactive strategies designed to mitigate risk, prevent infringement, and strengthen long-term competitive advantages.
Laura brings a global outlook combined with deep regional insight to her clients’ most pressing legal challenges. With over a decade of experience, she has guided businesses through market entry, portfolio expansion, and international growth, delivering tailored, commercially focused advice grounded in rigorous legal analysis.
Laura holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Barcelona, where she focused on comparative approaches to trademark and patent law within international legal frameworks. She also holds a Master’s degree in Government and Public Management.
